Italy: “Festival Di Sanremo 2022” – Night 2 Summary and Results

The 2nd night of “Sanremo Festival 2022″ was held last night.
The main host was Amadeus

Meanwhile, the co-host was Lorena Monroe Cesarini

Besides the 13 performances, some special guests presented, like Checco Zalone, Fabio Rovazzi, Orietta Berti, Ermal Meta, Arisa, Malika Ayane, Gaia Girace, and Margherita Mazzucco – 

In addition, the 3 hosts of Eurovision 2022 have been announced: Laura Pausini, Alessandro Cattelan and Mika

13 artists performed last night:

  1. Matteo Romano – Virale
  2. Giovanni Truppi – Tuo padre, mia madre, Lucia
  3. Le Vibrazioni – Tantissimo
  4. Ditonellapiaga & Donatella Rettore – Chimica
  5. Highsnob & Hu – Abbi cura di te
  6. Elisa – O forse sei tu
  7. Sangiovani – Farfalle
  8. Emma – Ogni Volta e Cosi
  9. Iva Zanicchi – Voglio amarti
  10. Fabrizio Moro – Sei tu
  11. Irama – Ovunque sarai
  12. AKA7even – Perfetta così
  13. Tananai – Sesso occasionale

The results are based on 3 different components with equal weights: jury from the press and TV, jury from the radio and jury from the web.

However, no eliminations took place.
The derived ranking will be part of the final results later on.

25 artists are participating in the the festival this year: 22 established Italian artists and 3 new-comers (“Giovani category“).
Tonight, the remaining 13 artists will perform in the festival.
The winner will be announced on Saturday late night and will receive the right to represent Italy at Eurovision 2022.

As one of the big5 (and a host country as well), Italy has already guaranteed its place in the grand final. Italy will participate in the grand final of Eurovision 2022 that will be held on the 14th of May 2022.
