Norway held the grand final of “Melodi Grand Prix 2022” tonight
Early Rounds:
On January 10, 2022, The Norwegian broadcast NRK held a special press conference where all 21 about to participate in the 2022 season of MGP were presented. At that time also named the hosts for all the shows: Kåre Magnus Bergh, Annika Momrak, and Mikkel Niva.
In the last 4 weeks, we had a weekly show with 4 brand new songs competing in duels. The winner moved on to the final where the other 3 remained in the game until the second chance round where a special wildcard was granted. All 5 songs now joins the in a race together with the 5 pre-qualified acts selected by the NRK in advance. The finalist as well had a run on the MGP stage presented one finalist during each of the 4 semi-finals and another one on the second chance round

Tonight. Live from the H3 Arena in Fornebu the 10 finalist are here for one goal only! To win and be the nest Eurovision Song Contest representative for Norway. The show running order was announced a few days before the final and is as follows:

- Anna-Lisa Kumoji – Queen Bees (Automatic Qualifier)
- Farida Louise – Dangerous (SF2 Winner)
- Sofie Fellvjang – Made of Glass (SF4 Winner)
- Frode – Black Flowers (SF1 Winner)
- Christian Ingebrigtsen – Wonder of the World (Automatic Qualifier)
- Maria Mohn – Fly (Second Chance)
- Subwoolfer – Give That Wolf A Banana (Automatic Qualifier)
- Elsie Bay – Death Of Us (Automatic Qualifier)

In the first round. a %60 cut is made and places 10-5 are now out. staying on the race are

Moving on to the regional televotes another cut is about to be made and while revealing the results its down to Two acts only that have made it to the Superfinal.
Its the money-time and the announcement is coming. adding the last points and calculating the votes percentages, its is now announced that
Subwoolfer is going to wave the Norwegian flag this May in Turin!

At Eurovision:
Norway will participate in the second half of semi-final 1 of Eurovision 2022 to be aired on May 10, 2022. If in case they will qualify, they will perform again on the show’s grand final on May 14, 2022.
