Australia has just chosen an artist and a song for Eurovision 2022 via the selection “Australia Decides 2022″.
Myf Warhurst and Joel Creasey hosted the show

11 artists took the stage today in the following running order:

- Seann Miley Moore – My Body
- Charley – I Suck At Being Lonely
- Andrew Lambrou – Electrify
- Sheldon Riley – Not the Same
- Paulini – We Are One
- Jaguar Jonze – Little Fires
- Isaiah Firebrace ft. Evie Irie – When I’m With You
- Voyager – Dreamer
- Jude York – I Won’t Need to Dream

The special guests were:
KEiiNO band who represented Norway at Eurovision 2019
and Montaigne who represented Australia at Eurovision 2020 – 2021

The jury panel consisted of 5 members:
- Alexandra Rotan – The lead singer of KEiiNO (who represented Norway at Eurovision 2019)
- Darren Hayes – The frontman o the group Savage Garden
- Paul Clarke – Director and Producer
- Emily Griggs – Head of Entertainment, SBS
- Millie Petriella – APRA AMCOS Director Member
The jury voted as follows

Jaguar Jnoze leads with 51 point, behind her Sheldon Riley with 50 points
While the public voted as follows:

Therefore, Sheldon Riley will represent Australia at Eurovision 2022.

Sheldon will perform the song “Not The Same” :
Australia will participate in the First half of semi-final 2 of Eurovision 2022 which be held on the 12th of May 2022.
If the country qualifies, Australia will perform in the grand final on the 14th of May 2022
