It is now out and loud! Sam Ryder is going to Eurovision!

After cancelling his gig in Glasgow on May 15 and being selected for “Tune of the Week on his Radio 1 show, the rumours were out for almost a month and once again “rumor has it” (again).
Today, finally, it is no more of a secret and it was officially announced that (again). The 12M followers British TikTok stars Sam Ryder will sing “SPACE MAN” for the UK in Turin.
Alongside the announce, and to adjust the contest’s rule, a new 3 min version of “Space Man” was released.
Who is Sam Ryder?

Sam is a British singer – songwriter who was born in 1989.
Sam is currently the most followed UK music artist on the platform, with over 12 million followers and 100 million likes on TikTok.
His debut EP was released in 2021.
for his Eurovision 2022 entry, he collaborated with Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran, “Thinking Out Loud“) and Max Wolfgang.
The singer reacted:
‘Having been a fan of Eurovision since I was a kid, I am so honoured to have been presented with the opportunity to sing at an event alongside some of Europe’s most talented creative, performers and songwriters. I hope to sing my head off in a way the UK can be proud of, and to showcase a song I wrote with my friends last summer makes the whole experience even more special. See you in Turin legends!”
