Just 3 days ahead of the “Festivali i Këngës 61”, Albanian broadcaster RTSH revealed more details about the format of each one of the 4 nights of the festival.
The songs won’t be released before the live shows.
“Festivali i Këngës 61” – All The Known Details
- The festival will start on Monday, the 19th of December 2022 and will end on the 22nd of December 2022
- The artistic team behind the festival will be: Arbana Osmani (presenter), Bojken Lako, Shpetim Saraçi, Eraldo Rexho and Eduart Grishaj.
Night 1 – Monday, 19th of December 2022
13 artists out of the 26, will perform on the first night of the running order:
- Enxhi Nasufi – Burrë (Eng: Man)
- Erma Mici – Kozmosi i dashurisë (Eng: Cosmos of love)
- Fabian Basha – Një gotë (Eng: A Glass)
- Anduel Kovaçi – Malli (Eng: Merchandise)
- Fifi (Filloreta Raçi) – Stop
- Urban Band – Në çdo hap (Eng: At every step)
- 2 Farm (Bandë muzikore) – Atomike (Eng: Atomic)
- Sara Kapo – Para teje (Eng: Before you)
- Rezearta Smaja – N’Eden (Eng: In Eden)
- Albina and familja Kelmendi – Duje (Eng: You Want)
- Serxhio Hajdini – Vështirë (Eng: Difficult)
- Luna Causholli – Jetën ta fal (eng: I Forgive Life)
- Rovena Dilo – Motit (Eng: Weather)
Night 2 – Tuesday, 20th of December 2022
The remaining 13 artists will perform on the second night.

- Aris Bako – Sonte dua të jem me ty (Eng: Tonight I want to be with you).

- Alban Kondi & Lorela Karoshi – Melodi (Eng: Melody)
- Petrit Çarkaxhiu – Emri yt mirësi (Eng: Your name is kindness)
- Elsa Lila – Evita
- Genti Hoxha – Ajër (Eng: Air)
- Evi Reçi – Ma kthe (Eng: Give me back)
- Manjola Nallbani – Dua (Eng: I Want)
- LYNX – Nëse ke besim (Eng: If you believe)
- Vanesa Soni – Aroma jonë (Eng: Our Fragrance)
Night 3 – Wednesday, 21st of December 2022
This will be a gala night with special songs from the past.
All the artists are expected to perform on the 3rd night.
Night 4 – Thursday, 22nd of December 2022
This is the final night.
Jury awards will be given, as well as the top 3 of the public vote.
At the end of the night, we will know the Albanian song and artist for Eurovision 2023
Special guests in the festival will be:
Gala Dragot – will participate in the Belgian national final for Eurovision 2023. She has Albanian roots
Kalush Orchestra, the winner of Eurovision 2022 from Ukraine
Public Vote
For the first time since 2016, the public will be involved in the festival’s results.
However, the public has had little weight on the results in the past.
This year, the Albanian representative for Eurovision will be selected by 100% public vote (via SMS).
Professional Jury
The jury will determine the festival’s results and will grant the main awards:
- 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place
- 1st prize for the best-established artists
- 1st prize for the best young artist and alternative bands
Note: The festival winner (awarded by jury) won’t necessarily be the Albanian representative for Eurovision 2023.
