On the 4th of February 2023, Blanca Paloma won “Benidorm Fest 2023” with her electro-flamenco ballad “Eaea”.

Jose Pablo Polo is the producer behind the song, which has also co-written the song with Blanca Paloma and Álvaro Tato.
In a special interview, given by Jose Pablo Polo, he revealed that “Eaea” has been modified a little bit, before being officially sent to the EBU:
The version that will sound at Eurovision has already been delivered. We have made some changes (some were already present in the Benidorm Fest version) that we believe will be able to elevate the song to a higher status
Some of the changes can be heard in the live performance of the song in the festival, compated to the audio version.
Blanca Paloma and Jose Pablo Polo are also the artistic directors behind the act, and therefore it is possible that some of the changes are related to the staging.

Blanca Paloma Ramos Baeza, also known by her given name, Blanca Paloma, is a Spanish singer, set designer, and costume designer.
It was the second time in a row that the 34-year-old singer tried her luck in the national selection.
In 2022, she performed “Secreto de agua” and finished 5th in the final.
This year, she won the festival with “Eaea“
Spain will compete in the grand final of Eurovision 2023.
