We talked about her journey to Eurovision, including “The Voice of Georgia 2023“.
Iru talked about the message behind her song, and the meaning of the video clip.
She also revealed who her favorite Georgia entries are in Eurovision history.

Iru Khechanovi is no stranger to Eurovision!
She is a 22 year-old Georgian pop singer.
Last December, she was one of the song-writers of the song “I Believe“.
The song was performed by Mariam Bigvava as the Georgian entry for Junior Eurovision 2022. Georgia finished in 3rd place in the final.
In 2011, Iru was part of the group Candy who represented Georgia at Junior Eurovision 2011 with the song “Candy Music” and won the contest!
Iru will perform the song “Echo” at Eurovision 2023:
Georgia will compete in the second half of semi-final 2 at Eurovision 2023.
Georgia is set to perform in 11th position after Slovenia and before San Marino.
