France Confirms Eurovision 2024 Participation

Earlier today, the French national broadcaster (France 2) confirmed participation at Eurovision 2024.
France is one of the Big5 countries whose spot in the grand-final is guaranteed without participating in the semi-finals.

The selection process for Eurovision 2024 is still unknown.
Over the years, France has changed its selection process from time to time.
For example, the country chose internally in the years 2008–2013, 2015–2017, 2020 and 2023.
While in the years 2014, 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022, the broadccaster held a national selection with the involvement of the public.

La Zarra represented France at Eurovision 2023 with the song “Évidemment“.
She finished in 16th place in the final, with a total of 104 points:

France joins a list of countries that have already confirmed their participation at Eurovision 2024.

France has won the contest 5 times, with the last time to date being in 1977.
