JESC 2023: First details for Italian entry Melissa & Ranya’s entry at Junior Eurovision 2023 have been revealed

After Italian broadcaster RAI annoucement that Melissa and Ranya will represent Italy at Junior Eurovision 2023.

Melissa went on Instagram she answering the questions from fans,Melissa revealed first couple of hints of information about their song.She said that song is expected to be released ”roughly the next ten days” which is marks on 16th October 2023 but this isn’t confirmation.

Also languages of their entry is that will be in Italian and English which is lately been continuing the same approach in last Italian entries in competition. Melissa went on to explain that the song will feature both fast and slow parts. It has already been revealed that the song was composed by Franco Fasano.

Couple of Franco Fasano works in Junior Eurovision are:

Melissa Agliottone and Ranya Moufidi will represent Italy at Junior Eurovision 2023. They were internally selected to represent the country in Nice in a collaboration between Rai and Universal Music Italy. Both girls took part in the first series of The Voice Kids Italy earlier this year. Ranya reached the final while Melissa won the contest.

Chanel Dilecta represented Italy at Junior Eurovision 2022 with the song ”Bla Bla Bla”. She finished in 11th place with 95 points.

Junior Eurovision 2023 will take place in Nice, France on 26th November 2023.
16 countries will take part in the contest: France, Germany, Spain, the UK, Italy, Albania, North Macedonia, Estonia, Georgia, Poland, The Netherlands, Malta, Ukraine, Ireland, Portugal, and hopefully Armenia.
