Croatia: “Dora 2024” Participants Have Been Announced

Croatia will choose an artist and a song for Eurovision 2024 via “Dora 2024″.
The submission window closed on the 30th of November 2023.

A total of 203 songs have been submitted to the selection process, which is a record number compared to previous years.

HRT revealed a list of 24 finalists (and 4 back-up songs):

  1. Alen Đuras – A Tamburitza Lullaby
  2. Let 3 – Babaroga
  3. Noelle – Baby, Baby
  4. Boris Štok – Can We Talk?
  5. Natalie Balmix – Dijamanti (Eng: Diamonds)
  6. Pavel – Do Mjeseca (Eng: To The Moon)
  7. Marcela – Gasoline
  8. Erna – How Do You Love Me?
  9. Vinko – Lying Eyes
  10. Lana Mandarić – More
  11. James Night – Nebo Plače (Eng: To Crying Sky)
  12. Saša Lozar – Ne Plačem Zbog Nje (Engg: I Don’t Cry Because of Her)
  13. Barbara Munjas – Nepobjediva (Eng: Invincible)
  14. Lara Demarin – Ne Vjerujem Ti (Eng: I Don’t Believe You)
  15. The Splitters – Od Kad Te Sanjam (Eng: From When I Dream of You)
  16. Misha – One Day
  17. Et Pametnom Dosta (Eng: Smart Enough)
  18. Lu Dedić  Plavi Leptir (Eng: Blue Butterfly)
  19. Zsa Zsa – Probudi Usne Moje (Eng: Awaken My Lips)
  20. Vatra – Slatke Suze, Gorka Ljubav (Eng: Sweet Tears, Bitter Love)
  21. Stefany Žužić – Sretnih Dana Dat’ Će Bog (Eng: God Will Give Happy Days)
  22. Eugen –Tišine (Eng: Silence)
  23. Mario Battifiaca Feat. Robert Ferlin – Vodu Piti Trizan Biti (Eng: Drink Water To Be Sober)
  24. Damir Kedžo Voljena Ženo (Eng: Beloved Woman)

The 4 backup songs (in case of withdrawals) are:

  1. Baby Lasagna – Rim Tim Tagi Dim
  2. Cota G4 – Stavi Se Na Mjesto
  3. Mihael Kvorka – Vrati Se
  4. Ether – Duboko Roni

Among the finalists, we can recognize some common names:

  1. Let 3 – Represented Croatia at Eurovision 2023
  2. Damir Kedžo – Was meant to represent Croatia at Eurovision 2020.
  3. The Splitters participated in “Dora 2023”
  4. Barbara Munjas participated in “Dora 2023”
  5. Boris Štok participated in “Dora 2023”
  6. Saša Lozar auditioned for “Dora 2011”
  7. Mario Battifiaca participated in “Dora 2009”
  8. Stefany Žužić competed in “The Voice of Croatia 2016″
  9. Lara Demarin competed in “The Voice of Croatia 2016”

The expected date for the final of “Dora 2024” is Saturday, the 24th of February 2024 in the city of Opetija.
The songs are expected to be released during January 2024.

Let3 represented Croatia at Eurovision 2023 with the song “Mama ŠČ!“.
Despite being well accepted by the public (7th place), they ended in the 13th place (combined with the jury vote) with a total of 123 points:

Who would you like to see representing Croatia at Eurovision 2024?
Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-finals will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024
