Malta: “MESC 2024” Final Week To Begin On January 29

Back in October-November 2023, Malta held the 4 semi-final of “MESC 2024″.
A total of 36 artists competed in the semi-finals, 12 of them qualified for the final

The 12 finalists are:

  1. Miriana Conte – Venom
  2. Sarah Bonnici – Loop
  3. Greta Tude – Topic (Bla Bla)
  4. J.anvil – Man
  5. Haley Azzopardi – Tell Me That It’s Over
  6. Ryan Hili – Karma
  7. Erba’ – Sirena
  8. Nathan – Ghost
  9. Denise Mercieca – Mara
  10. Matt Blxck – Banana
  11. Gail Attard – Wild Card
  12. Lisa Gauci – Breathe

According to the official Eurovision Malta Instagram, the final will take place in the week between the 29th of Janaury 2024 and 4th of February 2024:

The exact date of the final is unknown, with the option that it will even take more than one day.

“MESC 2024” Final – Known Details

  1. Before the final, each of the 12 qualifiers will have a hour to record 3 sessions of live on tape performances of their songs.
  2. In the final, the artists won’t perform live, but will use the line on tape versions, as well as broadcasting of the video clips.
  3. Final sound mixing will be operated by PBS to ensure uniform levels and quality of sound.
  4. At the end of the show, 5 awards will be given:
    • Top 3 Places
    • Best Newcomer
    • Best Video Clip
  5. The results will be based on a combination of public and jury votes.

Who would you like to see representing Malta at Eurovision 2024?
Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-finals will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024
