Germany will select an entry and an artist for Eurovision 2024 via a national selection: “Eurovision Song Contest – Das deutsche Finale 2024” . The show will be held on the 16th of February 2024
and will be hosted by Barbara Schöneberger
German broadcaster NDR has officially confirmed the songs from the national selection will be released on the 19th of Janaury 2024.
It is worth mentioning that not all of the acts will be revealed on the 19th of January 2024.
This year, the German selection suggests a second path for new artists who will be mentored. 15 artists will compete in the “Ich will zum ESC”.
One of them will join the line-up of “Das deutsche Finale 2024“, with the song revealed on the 8th of February 2024
The number of finalists in the German selection is still unknown, but will probably be around 11 (including the Ich will zum ESC winner)

Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-finals will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024
