Danish broadcaster DR has revealed the 8 artists who will compete in the Danish selection for Eurovision 2024: “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2024”

The 8 acts for the “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2024″ are:
- RoseeLu – Real Love
- Stella – Sign Here
- Saba – Sand
- Janus Wiberg – I Need Your Love
- UBLU – Planetary Hearts
- Basim – Johnny
- Aura Dione – Mirrorball of Hope
- Chu Chu – The Chase (Zoom Zoom)

For the first time in years, there is no single song in the Danish language!
Among the participants, we can recognize Basim (who represented Denmark at Eurovision 2014 and ended in the 9th place).
Saba‘s song was co-written by Melanie Wehbe (who competed in Swedish “Melodifestivalen 2023“) and Jonas Thander (who co-wrote Lithuania’s song for Eurovision 2016, UK‘s song for Eurovision 2019, and Austria‘s song for Eurovision 2021).
Stella’s song “Sign Here” was co-written by Tim Schou (Eurovision 2011, as part of “A Friend in London”).
“Dansk Melod Grand Prix 2024”

- Around 500 songs were submitted for the national selection.
- 8 artists will take part in the “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2024”.
- The final of “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2024″ will be held on Saturday, the 17th of February 2024.
- The week before, on the 10th of February 2024, DR will broadcast a special show where the artists will perform unplugged versions of their songs.
- Stéphanie Surrugue and Sara Bro will host the show.
- The final will include 2 rounds of voting. Super-finalists will be announced in random order.
- The results will be determined by a combination of jury voting and public vote.
- The jury panel will consist of 20 members: 10 Danish Eurovision experts and 10 international jury members

Who would you like to see representing Denmark at Eurovision 2024?
Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-finals will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024
