4 countries will end the night selecting their Eurovision entry: Ukraine, Norway, Malta and Spain.
While additional 3 countries will step forward with their national selections for Eurovision 2024: Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden.

Format

11 artists will perform their songs live.
The results will be determined by 50% jury vote and 50% public vote.
Each set of results will be converted to fixed one: 1-11 points.
The winner will be the one who achieving the highest sum of points (in case of a tie: The higher ranked act by the public will win)

The hosts of the show will be: Julia Sanina, Timur Miroshnichenko and Vasil Bajda.

Format

“Melodifestivalen 2024” will last for 6 weeks: 5 heat and a grand final.
6 artists will compete in each heat: 2 will qualify for the final, additional 2 will get an opportunity to compete in the second chance, and the remaining 2 will be eliminated.

The voting will be managed in 2 rounds, where only the public will vote:

• The votes will be aggregated to 8 group of voters: Televote, and 7 age groups (3-9, 10-15, 16-29, 30-44, 45-59, 60-74, 75+)
• The winner of the first round will get a ticket to the final.
• The remaining 5 acts will face another voting, where each group of voters will grant set of points: 12,10,8,5,3
