The Swedish broadcaster SVT, which is in charge of Eurovision 2024 hosting, revealed the identity of the presenters of the Eurovision 2024 live shows!
This year’s contest will be led by 2 talented women: Petra Mede and Malin Åkerman!
Petra Mede is one of the all time fan favorites personalities.
She is a 53 year-old Swedish comedian, TV presenter, dancer and actress.
She will host Eurovision for the 3rd time.
In 2013, she has done the hosting work on her own
In 2016, she hosted Eurovision again, this time with Eurovision 2015 winner, Måns Zelmerlöw:
Malin Åkerman will have the honor hosting the contest for the first time.
She is a 45 year-old Swedish and American actress. She first appeared in smaller parts in both Canadian and American productions, including The Utopian Society and Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle.
Petra Mede commented:
Imagine getting the chance to host Eurovision once again! It’s such an incredible honor. After first hosting it alone and then together with the delightful Måns Zelmerlöw by my side, I am now really looking forward to working with Malin. We don’t know each other from before, but we have met a couple of times now, and I’m already completely sold. It’s going to be a joy to work with her!
Malin Åkerman reacted:
I can’t really describe my feelings about this. I am very excited and a little nervous, but in a positive way. I have always liked Eurovision and to be a part of this fantastic show together with Petra is a dream come true. Additionally, Petra is one of the funniest women I’ve ever met

The semi-finals will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024
