Azerbaijani broadcaster ictimai TV has internally selected the act for Eurovision 2024.
6 artists were shortlisted to perform in front of the jury panel:
- Aisel (Eurovision 2018)
- Emy Lia (Emiliya Yaqubova) – The winner of “The Voice of Azerbaijan” season 1
- İlkin Dövlətov & Mila Miles & Etibar Əsədli
- Fahree
- Səbinə Quluzadə
- Qorqud
Ictimai TV released a short video, where the 6 finalists answered some questions about their songs:
The professional committee made its decision, getting the help of music experts from different countries.
The 29 year-old singer Fahree was selected for Eurovision 2024.
The singer has completed his second degree in law, but has always shown a passion for music
His song was said to fit into an action movie, a song that tells the story of a fight. One of the phrases in the song is: “I’m going back to Diyar”

What are your expectations from Azerbaijan at Eurovision 2024?
Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-finals will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024.
Azerbaijan will compete in the second half of semi-final 1.
