Behind The Scenes: Several Countries Reveal Staging Plans For Eurovision 2024

Just a day before the rehearsals for Eurovision 2024 commencing, we have collected for you the information some delegations shared about staging planning.
This information has been released as part of interview of as an official press releases.

🇦🇲 Armenia: LADANIVA – Jako

The 2 members of Ladaniva won’t be alone on stage, they will be joined by additional people.
The experience might be a one similar to a live concert, and that’s why we will probably have instruments as part of it.
The Armenian delegation wants to emphasize cultural elements and to convey happy and bright energy.

🇨🇾 Cyprus: Silia Kapsis – Liar

Silia will be accompanied by 4 male dancers on stage. The Cypriot delegation hinted about highly rate performance with a catchy choreography.

🇭🇷 Croatia: Baby Lasagna – Rim Tim Tagi Dim

The performance from “Dora 2024” will undergo some changes.
The first change will be in the line-up of people on stage together with Baby Lasagna:
Matija Klaj will be on drums, Mihael Žipovski will be on keyboards and guitar, Sebastijan Žeželić and Luana Kličić will remain as the dancers.
Baby Lasagna’s outfit will be a different one, designed by Valentina Pliško and will feature ethnic elements.

🇩🇰 Denmark: SABA – Sand

Saba’s performance will feature actual sand, which might be combined with her hand movements.
It is likely to have the flashing light effect in the Eurovision performance as well

🇫🇮 Finland: Windows95man ft. Henri – No Rules!

Windows95man and Henri won “UMK 2024”. However some changes will be implemented, especially on the outfit aspects. The “Windows” logo will be blurred. Another possible change might be related to Windows95man’s underwear, which might be too provocative.
Taking to YLE, Windows95man revealed there are 6 different options for the underwear part. He will prefer the most provocative one to be selected.
The duo will be accompanied by 2 dancers: Jesse Wijnans and Matti Myllyaho.
The jeans egg will be part of the package as well.

🇬🇪 Georgia: Nutsa Buzaladze – Firefighter

Nutsa will be accompanied by 4 Italian male dancers on stage.
It is likely the performance will feature some pyro effects.

🇩🇪 Germany: Isaak – Always on the Run

The British director Dan Shipton will be in charge of the German staging for Eurovision 2024.
The performance will probably undergo some changes, especially due to the lack of props.

🇬🇷 Greece: Marina Satti – Zari

The Greek performance isn’t likely to include props or pyro effects.
The performance will be filmed with a single shot technique.
Marina will be accompanied by dancers on stage.
The LED and backdrop screen will feature the song lyrics, Marina’s character and more.
The performance and choreography will feature some Greek cultural elements, while some movement form the video clip will be kept.

🇮🇱 Israel: Eden Golan – Hurricane

Eden Golan will wear a white dress (it is possible to have hues of white and close colors). Eden will be the only one to sing, so no backing vocals will be involved.
She will be accompanied by 5 dancers on stage. It is possible we will see similar choreography to the one presented in the video clip.

🇮🇹 Italy: Angelina Mango – La noia

In contrast to “Sanremo 2024” performance, Angelina Mango won’t be alone on stage.
She will be accompanied by 5 female dancers.

🇱🇹 Lithuania: Silvester Belt – Luktelk

Silvester Belt will modify his performance from “Eurovizija.LT 2024“, but the main framework will be the same, including the choreography and the dancers.

🇲🇩 Moldova: Natalia Barbu – In the Middle

Natalia Barbu will perform the song with the presence of violin.
She would like to tell a story, using animation and video art which will be presented on the LED screens and the backdrop.

🇳🇱 Netherlands: Joost Klein – Europapa

Donny Ronny, the Dutch stage director revealed the staging will probably feature a noticeable prop. He described it as “It will be a new form of the moon landing. It’s never been done before. People are not going to believe this is physically possible”.
Joost won’t be alone on the stage: He will be accompanied by Dutch actor and TikTok influencer Appie Mussa (Abdulahi Mussa Ali) and the Dutch actor StuntKabouter (Martijn van Ijzeren).

🇳🇴 Norway: Gåte – Ulveham

The performance from the “Melodi Grand Prix 2024” will probably be kept for the big stage in Malmö. This includes the band members playing the different instruments and the rotating circular platform on which the lead singer will stand on.

🇵🇱 Poland: LUNA – The Tower

Luna performance will feature something that has never been used before in the Polish performance for Eurovision.
Her outfit will feature 2 parts (in a theatrical style): One of them white, and the other will be red.
The performance will put courage and hard work as part of the main message.

🇷🇸 Serbia: Teya Dora – Ramonda

Teya Dora will have a different staging, compared to the one presented in “Pesma za Evroviziju 2024″. The staging concept will be the one she wished for in the national selection, but wasn’t able to make it happen. The colors palate will be similar to the one we have seen, with the purple lilac color as the main one. She talks about a more effective ending.

🇸🇮 Slovenia: Raiven – Veronika

Raiven will be accompanied by 5 dancers on stage: Mateja Železnik, Marin Ino, Matteo Moretto, Lukas Bareman and Filippo Jorio.
She will wear a mysterious outfit, revealing some body parts. Her dress was designed by the Slovene fashion brand AEMONA.
The values which will be emphasized in the performance will be femininity, darkness and mystery.
According to an interview with the singer, some elements from the video clip will be included in the staging. Raiven and her dancers will interact through movement.

🇬🇧 United Kingdom – Olly Alexander – Dizzy

During an interview held with the BBC, Olly shared we will be accompanied by 4 dancers on stage. The performance will feature choreography and will showcase elements of dizziness.

Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-finals will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024.
Luxembourg will compete in the second half of semi-final 1, and will be the last song to be performed in the show.
