Eurovision 2024: EBU Investigates An Incident Related to Dutch Joost Klein

An unexpected scandal occurred during the dress rehearsal earlier today (Friday, 10th of May 2024) .
Dutch singer Joost Klein was just about to go on stage as the 5th song in the running order

However, for an unknown reason, Joost Klein had to skip his official rehearsal.
After a short technical break, the stage crew removed the props of the Dutch act for the stage.
Instead, the Israeli act Eden Golan followed Tali from Luxemborug

The EBU released the following comment:

We are currently investigating an incident that was reported to us involving the Dutch artist. He will not be rehearsing until further notice. We have no further comment at this time and will update in due course

Accurate details are still to be revealed. But it seems like the EBU prevents The Netherlands from going on stage until the investigation is complete.
Dress rehearsals have taken place with participation from 25 countries only.

Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024.
