Following yesterday’s report, we learned that Dutch Joost Klein didn’t perform live during the grand final rehearsals.
Yesterday, The EBU released a statement indicating the following (however not mentioning the precise details)

We are currently investigating an incident that was reported to us involving the Dutch artist. He will not be rehearsing until further notice. We have no further comment at this time and will update in due course
Previously, the running order released by the EBU and SVT was:

According to press release by the EBU, the mentioned incident was related to a female employee in the Swedish production crew.
She reported a violent incident towards her, with the involvement of Joost Klein (The Dutch representative for Eurovision 2024).
The incident was investigated by the Swedish police, following a complaint made by the employee.
Considering the incident carefully, the EBU has made a decision: Dutch Joost Klein will be disqualified from the contest. This will leave us with 25 countries competing in the grand final.
The EBU released the following statement:
We would like to make it clear that, contrary to some media reports and social media speculation, this incident did not involve any other performer or delegation member.
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards inappropriate behavior at our event and are committed to providing a safe and secure working environment for all staff at the Contest. In light of this, Joost Klein’s behavior towards a team member is deemed in breach of Contest rules.

26 year old Joost Klein is a Dutch rapper and singer. He was internally selected to represent The Netherlands at Eurovision 2024 with the song “Europapa”
Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024.
