Albania: Elhaida Dani Will Be The “Festivali i Këngës 63” Artistic Director

RTSH, Albania’s national broadcaster, announced that former Eurovision participant Elhaida Dani will be the artistic director of “Festivali i Këngës 63”.
As always, the festival is expected to be used as Albania’s selection process for Eurovision.
The festival will be held during December 2024.

Elhaida has probably received a multi-year contract for this position.

The General Director of RTSH, Alfred Peza, commented:

The arrival of Elhaida is happy news for me, the staff and the entire public opinion, because it will be an added value for the festival, given her extraordinary career starting from her victories in many music competitions. Bojken Lako, the director of the 62nd Festival, who made it one of the best festivals ever made by RTSH, will work with her.

Elhaida Dani reacted:

t is a great pleasure and responsibility. I was born and grew up at the RTSH Festival, and thanks to this festival I also stepped on the Eurovision stage. I know what this Festival means for Albanian artists. I know the importance. I will give my best in this Festival, but also in the next ones. It is a golden opportunity to show Albania the best values. We intend to choose a team as professional as possible, as serious as possible, to do a great job for this Festival and the next ones

About Elhaida Dani

Elhaida Dani is one of the well-known singers in Albania.
In 2015, she represetend Albania at Eurovision 2015 with “I’m Alive”, and ended in the 17th place in the final.

In 2013, she won the first season of “The Voice of Italy”.

Eurovision 2025 will be held in Switzerland.

Doron Lahav is 30-year-old, who lives in Israel. Doron has been watching the Eurovision Song Contest since early 2000s. Doron works as a Data Scientist and shows interest in singing and writing.
