“The Looker 2024”: Eurovision Wish List – Chapter 10 (Moldova, Poland, Ukraine)

Welcome to our series of posts – “The Looker” where we will share our wish list of artists to participate in Eurovision.
You can easily reach all former posts here


This is the 4th year in a row that we are running the project.
But before we start, let us remark that our recommendations will not necessarily come true (as some countries select their artists by reality shows).

#1.Eva Timush



Eva Timush is a Moldovan pop singer.
She has started singing at a very young age, and debuted in “The Voice Kids Russia”.
Later on, she participated in “The Next Star Romania” and “The Voice Romania”, where she was mentored by Irina Rimes.
In 2022, she signed a contract with Global Records.
Ever since then, she has released several singles.
Eva is a rising pop star who excels in performing popular pop music and therefore ready to conquer the stage.

In 2024, she released the song “Da-mi tu ca sa nu fur ” (Eng: Give it to me, so I don’t steal):

#2. Denorm

Denorm is a Moldovan band that was formed in Chisinau.
Their genre is defined as a retro synth-wave with metal elements.
The band members are: Jay Spacemano (lead vocalist), Mark Perlov (guitarist), Jenea Berdea (drummer), and Jin Berkley (keyboards).
Denorm has a potential to represent Moldova in a new light and direction in the big stage of Eurovision. It is something different that worth checking.

#1.bryska

Bryska (real name: Gabriela Nowak-Skyrpan) is a 23 year-old Polish singer-songwriter and composer.
She studied Technician’s Diploma (HNC) in Music Performance at the London Music School The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance.
She released her first composition under the name Gabees (2019) and as Bryella (2020)
In 2021, she signed a contract with Magic Records. Later this year, she released her debut EP “jestem bryska” (I am bryska).
In 2022, she released her debut album “moja ciemność” (Eng: My Darkness) which peaked ar number 6th in the Polish charts.
In 2023, she released her second album “biorę wdech” (Eng: I take a breath).
Bryska is a talented indie-pop singer who usually performs in the Polish language.
I think she can make Poland very proud in the contest.

#2. Oskar Cyms

Oskar Cyms is a 24 year-old Polish singer-songwriter.
As a child, he attended choir.
In 2021, he started releasing songs.
In 2023, he released his debut album “Nigdy wcześniej” (Eng: Never Before), which peaked at number 9th in the local charts.
Oskar Cyms brings a fun, young and dynamic vibe of pop music.
The fact he usually performs in Polish, can also shed more originality on his participation in Eurovision.

#1. KOLA

Anastasia Olehivna Prudius (better known as KOLA) is a 30 year-old Ukrainian singer.
She became known due to her participations in “X Factor Ukraine” (2013) and “The Voice Ukraine” (2016 and 2021).
In 2022, she released her debut album “Навколо” (Eng: Around).
in 2023, she won the YUNA Awards for the “Song of Unbreakable Ukraine“.
KOLA is a versatile singer, who is experienced in a wide range of pop music, as well soul, RnB and soft pop rock.
Adding to this her experience as performer, you’ll get a top candidate to represent Ukraine at Eurovision.

#2. The Doox ft. July Vitraniuk

The Doox in an Ukrainian folk-rock band that was formed in 2014.
The band members are: Maksym Berezhniuk (vocals, pipes, bagpipe, drimba),
Galina Stepancha (vocals), Taras Peretyatko (bass guitar), Valentin Dudchenko (guitar), and Serhiy Yatsenko (drums).
In 2018, they released their debut album.

July (Julia) Vitraniuk is a Ukrainian folk singer.
In 2021, she took part in the 11th season of “The Voice of Ukraine”.
She completed mater studies in musical art.
Over the years, she featured as lead vocalist for different group like Authentix and Zgarda. In addition, she tried her luck as opera singer.
Since 2023, she has collaborated with The Doox.
The Doox and July Vitraniuk have a great chemistry together. They suggest a fusion of modern production, folk elements and sharp vocals.
We all know that Ukraine is quite successful in ethnic folk rock music, and I see no differ for this group.
