“The Looker 2024”: Eurovision Wish List – Chapter 8 (Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia)

Welcome to our series of posts – “The Looker” where we will share our wish list of artists to participate in Eurovision.
You can easily reach all former posts here


This is the 4th year in a row that we are running the project.
But before we start, let us remark that our recommendations will not necessarily come true (as some countries select their artists by reality shows).

#1. David Greg


David Greg (real name: Davit Grigoryan) is an Armenian singer-songwriter who splits his life between The USA and Armenia.
So far, he has released several singles (Since 2018) , with his debut EP released in 2021.
David brings a combination of traditional elements with hip-hop music.
It is a genre that will be worth examining in Eurovision.

In 2024, he released the song “Հարգելի Տեր” (Eng: Dear Lord):

#2. Arpi Alto

Arpi Alto (real name: Arpine Mikaeli Ter-Petrosyan) is a 33 year-old Armenian singer-songwriter and record producer.
She was born to a German mother (a jazz singer) and an Armenian father (painter and sculptor).
She completed her master’s degree as a musician (with specialization in piano), and started her career in 2016.
She sings in Armenian, English, Russian and Portuguese. In 2021 she released her first album, My Soul in the Mountains“.
Arpi Alto hit the waves in Brazil after she recorded some covers of Bossa Nova songs.
Part of her professional background is in the Opera field.
Arpi Alto has a very distinctive voice: Somewhere in between mezzo-soprano and contralto.
I believe that with the right song, she will conquer the Eurovision stage.

#1.Sabina Beyli

Sabina Beyli is a 21 year-old Azeri singer-songwriter.
She started singing at a very young age, recording her own songs at the age of 14.
A few years ago, she moved to Boston (US) where she is working on her own music.
In 2020, she released her debut EP “Good Intentions“.
She is an active student at Berklee College of Music.
Sabina creates a modern alternative and soft pop rock music.
It has been a while since we’ve received this genre from Azerbaijan, and it feels like this is the right time.


In 2022, she released the song “Daddy’s Daughter“:

#2. Jeyhun Samedov

Jeyhun Samedov is a 33 year-old Azeri singer and composer.
Between 2008 and 2013, he was a member of the rock band Sirat.
Since 2015, he has worked on his solo career.
2 of his songs topped the local charts, achieving a record number of YouTube views and Spotify streams.
Jeyhun Samedov excels in combining traditional elements with rock music.
His music in somehow the intersection between east and west.
Maybe this could be the formula for Azerbaijan to succeed in Eurovision.

#1. Giorgi Pruidze


Giorgi Pruidze
is a Georgian singer-songwriter.
In 2019, he took part in the “Georgian Idol” and ended in 4th place.
Ever since then, he has released several songs.
Giorgi‘s music is a chilling one, a fun magnet and conveys his personality.
I believe he has the right package to go to Eurovision.

In 2022, he collaborated with PaJo on the song “Champion”:

#2. Liza Koni

Liza Koni (real name: Elizabet Koniadze) is a Georgian singer and lawyer.
She released her first single in 2021.
Even though she is a rising star with only a few songs released, it is easy to declare her potential.
Liza Koni can shine on the Eurovision stage with a dance-club pop track.
