Switzerland: 431 Songs Were Submitted For Eurovision 2025

Swiss broadcaster SRG SSR will select an artist and an entry for Eurovision 2025 via an internal selection. The country will stick to the same process from 2019.

Swiss outlet Swiss info reports that a total of 431 songs have been submitted for Eurovision 2025 selection. The submission window opened on August 8th and closed on August 22nd.
In 2024, the Swiss broadcaster received around 420 songs .

Swiss Selection for Eurovision 2025 – The Regulation

  1. The song will be selected via multiple rounds of selection, involving national viewers, international viewers and 25 international expert jury members (who have been involved in Eurovision in the past).
  2. The shortlisted acts should be ready to perform the songs live in front of the expert jury
  3. SRG SSR is looking for a modern, striking song that complies with international appeal.
  4. The selection process is expected to come to an end at the beginning of 2025.
  5. However, relying on previous years, the Swiss entry will probably be revealed in March 2025.

Nemo represented Switzerland at Eurovision 2024 with the song “The Code”.
They finished in first place with 591 points

Eurovision 2025 will be held in Switzerland.
