Belgian broadcaster VRT has just revealed the 8 artists who will compete in the national selection for Eurovision 2025 – Belgium’s “Eurosong 2025”.
#1. Grace Khuabi
Grace won the 7th season of “The Voice of Flanders” in 2021.
Her music suggests a unique blend of Afropop sounds and infectious melodies.
The 22 year-old singer has roots in Congo and was born in Amsterdam
#2. Le Manou
Manou Maerten is a 29 year-old producer, singer-songerwiter.
In 2009, she ended in 2ndd place in the Belgian national final for “JESC 2029”.
She was born and raised in Durbuy, and suggests nostalgic, trappy beats, usually combined with French lyrics.
#3.LEEZ (Lisa Van Rossem)
Lisa Van Rossem is a 31 year-old singer.
She started her career as a backing singer, but lately has focused on her solo career.
In 2016, she participated in “The Voice of Flanders“.
She has also collborated with her brother, Joris Van Rossem.
#4. Red Sebastian
Seppe Herreman (known as Red Sebastian) is a 25 year-old singer.
In 2014, he reached the finals of “Belgium’s Got Talent”.
In 2024, he participated in “Sing Again“.
His music blends pop, electronic elements and soul singing.
#5. Lenn
Len Neefs has gained its popularity via social media, where he releases his covers.
He is 25 years old, and the grandson of Louis Neefs, who represented the country in Eurovision in 1967 and in 1969.
#6. Jelle van Dael
Jelle van Dael is a 34 year-old singer.
She began her career in 2008, when she won a talent show that made her the vocalist of the dance band Lasgo.
One of her songs (“Superman”) achieved millions of streams and views.
In 2024, she participated in the show “Sing Again”.
#7.MentissaÂ
Mentissa won the Flemish version of “The Voice Kids” in 2014.
In 2020, she ended in 3rd place in “The Voice France”.
In 2024, she was one of the mentors on “The Voice Belgique” in RTBF.
#8. Stefanie Callebaut
Stefanie Callebaut is a 37 year-old singer, who is well-known as the lead singer of Kortrijk band SX band.
In 2024, she participated in “Ik vraag het aan“.
“Eurosong 2025” – Known Details
- The final of “Eurosong 2025” will be held on Saturday, the 1st of February 2025.
- The results will be based on public and jury votes.
- VRT will broadcast 2 pre-recorded shows where the artists will perform their songs. The shows will likely be broadcast in January 2025.
Mustii represented Belgium at Eurovision 2024 with the song “Before The Party’s Over.”
He didn’t qualify for the final.
Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th and 17th of May 2025
