Slovenia will select an artist and a song for Eurovision 2025 via “EMA 2025″.
As it has been revealed by RTV SLO, a total of 114 songs were submitted to the national selection.

Among them, we can find some familiar names and faces:
- Jon Vitezič participated in “EMA FREŠ 2022” with “Jesus Style”.
- July Jones participated in “EMA 2022” with “Girls Can Do Anything”.
- Kleman hosted “EMA 2020”, while also paying a special tribute to Slovenia’s participation in the Eurovision.
“EMA 2025” – Known Details

- The show will be held on Saturday, the 1st of February 2025, in the format of a TV show.
- The results will be determined by 2 rounds:
- Round 1: 12 artists will compete for 2 spots in the super-final. The results will be based on a 100% jury vote.
- Round 2: The top 2 artists will face a public vote.
- In the final, the 5 jury panels will be involved, each of them consisting of 5 members:
- OGAE Slovenia
- Music Jury
- Television Jury
- Radio Jury
- International Eurovision influencers
- The jury will rank the songs in the range of 1-8, 10, and 12 points.

In recent years, Slovenia has used a mixture of internal selection (2021, 2023, 2024) and “EMA” as a national selection (2014 – 2020, 2022).
Raiven represented Slovenia at Eurovision 2024 with the song “Veronika”.
She finished in 23rd place with 27 points
Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th and 17th of May 2025
