Croatia: Natalie Balmix Disqualified from Dora2025

Croatia delivers another shocking news today with the 2nd entry dropping out of the race to Eurovision 2025 in Basel.

Earlier this month Lara ft. LSQ withdrew from the national final in Croatia and today, HRT has officially announced that due to “breach of the rules” with the final version of the song “Život ide dalje” Natalie Balmix submitted to the broadcast, the singer will be disqualified.

Among the 3 reserve entries left it was announced that take Natalie ‘s place will be Fenksta with the song “Extra”

Therefor the complete lineup for the contest will be as follows:

  • Fenksta – Ekstra
  • Irma – Enigma

  • Jelena Radan – SALUT!

The songs will be released on Thursday, 9 January 2025

Dora 2025:

“Dora 2025” – Known Details

  1. The selection committee selected 24 songs to participate in the “Dora 2025“, and additional 4 reserve songs.
  2. “Dora 2025” will feature 3 shows:
    • Semi-Final 1: Thursday, February 27th 2025
    • Semi-Final 2: Friday, February 28th 2025
    • Grand Final: Sunday, March 2nd 2025
  3. The winner of “Dora 2025” will be selected by a combination of an expert jury and a public vote.
  4. The shortlisted artists will have to finalize their video clip no later than the 5th of January 2025.
  5. The songs will be released on January 9th
  6. The full format will be revealed no later than the 20th of January 2025.
  7. However, it is likely that the same format wili follow this year:
    • The results will be based on 50% public votes and 50% jury votes.
    • 12 artists will compete in each semi-final, 8 of them will make it to the final.
    • 16 artists will compete in the final.

Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th, and 17th of May 2025
