As almost always, Norway will select its Eurovision entry and artist via the traditional selection process, “Melodi Grand Prix”.
NRK will hold a special press conference, where the 3 hosts will present “Melodi Grand Prix 2025” artists.
The press will be held on Thursday, the 16th of January 2025, at 12:00 CET.
As in previous years, the artist revealing will take place in Studio 1 at Marienlyst.
Melodi Grand Prix” 2025 – Known Details
- “Melodi Grand Prix 2025” will include one show only. The final will be held on the 15th of February 2025, at the Oslo Spektrum (the same venue where Eurovision 1996 took place)
- 10 artists will compete in the selection.
- Marte Stokstad, Tete Lidbom and Markus Neby will host the show. Marte hosted the “Melodi Grand Prix” in 2012.
- The participants will be revealed during a press conference on Thursday, the 16th of January 2025.
- The entries are likely to be released independently by the artists themselves, in January 2025.
