Slovenia: “EMA 2025” Songs Have Been Released


Slovenia will select an artist and a song for Eurovision 2025 via “EMA 2025″.
12 artists will take part in the national final:

  3. PolarAce – “Kind
  4. Astrid & The Scandals – “Touché” (Eng: Touch)
  5. Jon Vitezič – “Vse ti dam (Eng: I give you everything)
  6. KiKi O-ou!
  7. Eva Pavli Niti (Eng: Neither)
  8. Kleman Slakonja – How Much Time Do We Have Left?
  9. July Jones – “New Religion
  10. Žan Videc – “Pusti da gori” (Eng: Let It Burn)
  11. Trine – “Grace
  12. RAI – Frederick’s Dead

Among them, we can find some familiar names and faces:

  • Jon Vitezič participated in “EMA FREŠ 2022” with “Jesus Style”.
  • July Jones participated in “EMA 2022” with “Girls Can Do Anything”.
  • Klemen hosted “EMA 2020”, paying a special tribute to Slovenia’s participation in the Eurovision.

“EMA 2025” – Known Details

  1. The show will be held on Saturday, the 1st of February 2025
  2. The results will be determined by 2 rounds:
    • Round 1: 12 artists will compete for 2 spots in the super-final. The results will be based on a 100% jury vote.
    • Round 2: The top 2 artists will face a public vote.
  3. In the final, the 5 jury panels will be involved, each of them consisting of 5 members:
    • OGAE Slovenia
    • Music Jury
    • Television Jury
    • Radio Jury
    • International Eurovision influencers
  4. The jury will rank the songs in the range of 1-8, 10, and 12 points.

Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th, and 17th of May 2025
