Norway: Kyle Alessandro Will Perform “Lighter” at Eurovision 2025

Tonight. Live from the Oslo Spektrum in Oslo, The Norwegian broadcaster, NRK, held its national final “Melodi Grand Prix” to select the act for Eurovision 2025
The trio hosting the show were Markus Neby, Marte Stokstad & Tete Lidbom.

The Line-Up

9 artists will perform their songs in the following running order

  1. Tone Damli – Last Song
  2. Sondrey – Vagabond
  3. Nora Jabri – Sulale
  4. Wig Wam – Human Fire
  5. LLL – Parasite
  6. Kyle Alessandro – Lighter
  7. Nataleen – The Game
  8. Ladybug – Hot as Hell in Paradise
  9. Bobbysocks – Joyful

The Results

The results were determined by a 40% international jury and a 60% public vote:

The international jury (Denmark, Georgia, Luxembourg, Finland, Iceland, Croatia, Austria, Sweden, the UK and Ukraine) voted as follows:

Adding the public vote, the combined results are:

Therefore, Kyle Alessandro will represent Norway at Eurovision 2025 with the song “Lighter”

Norway will compete in the second half of semi-final 2.


Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland, on the 13th, 15th, and 17th of May 2025.
