Germany: “Chefsache ESC 2025” Songs Are Gradually Released

Germany will select its Eurovision 2025 act via “Chefsache ESC 2025”.
14 artists will compete in the semi-final, where they will perform their Eurovision 2025 songs for the first time.

The list of 14 acts:

  1. Benjamin Braatz – “Like You Love Me
  2. Cage – “Golden Hour
  3. COSBY – “I’m Still Here
  4. Feuerschwanz – “Knightclub
  5. JJonathan Henrich – “Golden Child
  6. Julika – “Empress
  7. From Fall To Spring – “Take the Pain Away”
  8. Cloudy June – “If Jesus Saw What We Did Last Night
  9. Moss Kena – “Nothing Can Stop Love
  10. Lyza – “Lovers on Mars
  11. Abor & Tynna –
  12. JALN –
  13. LEONORA –
  14. The Great Leslie –

The Format:

  1. The selection will feature 4 live shows
  2. The dates of the shows:
    • Heat 1 (Show 1): Friday, 14th of February 2025
    • Heat 2 (Show 2): Saturday, 15th of February 2025
    • Semi-Final (Show 3): Saturday, 22nd of February 2025
    • Final (Show 4)Saturday1st of March 2025 at 20:15 local time.
  3. 24 acts made it through to the live shows.
    • The first 2 shows are the heats. 12 artists will compete in each heat
    • 7 artists will qualify from each heat.
    • 14 artists will compete in the semi-final (the 3rd show), 9 of them will make it to the final.
    • The results of the first 3 shows will be decided by a jury panel led by Raab.
    • The results of the final will be based on the public vote
  4. Beloved Barbara Schöneberger will host the shows
  5. The jury members will be: Stefan RaabYvonne Catterfeld, and Elton.

Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland on the 13th, 15th, and 17th of May 2025
