We are about to enjoy an exciting night of national selection for Eurovision 2025. 4 countries will broadcast live shows tonight: Germany and Denmark will select their entries for Basel, while Sweden and Portugal will broadcast the semi-finals of their national selections.

- Sara Bro and Stéphanie Surrugue will host the show
- The “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2025” will be held at the Jyske Bank Boxen in Horsens.
- A combination of public and jury votes will determine the winner in 2 rounds:
- Round 1: 50% of early public voting (started a week ago) + live public voting and 50% jury voting will determine the results. The top 3 acts will proceed for the super-final.
- Round 2: The votes will reset. The winner will be selected by public vote only.
Birthe Kjær (Denmark, Eurovision 1989) and Saba (Denmark, Eurovision 2024) will perform as special guests

The Format
- Barbara Schöneberger will host the show.
- The format will be:
- In the first round, the 9 finalists will perform covers. The results will be based on jury votes only. The jury panel members be Stefan Raab, Yvonne Catterfeld, Nico Santos and Conchita Wurst.
- In the second round, only 5 artists will compete. The artists will perform their songs for Eurovision 2025. The results will be based on 100% public vote.

The Format
- Tonight’s show will be held at the Husqvarna Garden, in Jönköping.
- Keyyo and Edvin Törnblom will host the show.
- A public vote will determine the results of the semi-finals
- 6 artists will take part in the 5th semi-final. The top 2 will qualify for the final.
- The artists who finish in the 4th, 5th, and 6th place (in each semi-final) will be eliminated.
- At the end of the 5th semi-final,
- The highest-scoring 3rd-place song (out of a possible 5) will get a ticket to the final
- The remaining 4 artists will face additional voting rounds. The winner will qualify for the final.

The Format
- The festival will feature 2 semi-finals and a final:
- 10 artists will compete in each semi-final, 6 qualifying from each semi-final to the final.
- The semi-final results will be determined in 2 rounds:
- First round – a 50% national jury and a 50% public vote. The 5 songs with the highest combined ranking will advance to the final.
- The second round will be determined solely by the public vote. One additional song will earn a ticket to the final.
- The grand final results will be based on a 50% national jury vote and a 50% public vote.
