Swiss broadcaster SRG SSR has revealed a sneak peek of the stage in Basel, just a few hours before rehearsals commence

The stage director for Eurovision 2025 will be Florian Wieder. The German production company has already designed some of the most memorable Eurovision stages, like in 2011 and 2019.
During those years, he was in charge of the stage design for the German selection for Eurovision in the years 2010–2011, 2014, 2017–2019, and 2022.

The Stage of the contest 2025 will aim to highlight the breathtaking scenery of Switzerland and its mountains.
The main elements
- Alpine Inspiration: The stage draws visual cues from the Swiss Alps, reflecting the mountainous landscapes that define Switzerland’s identity.
- Immersive Layout: A catwalk-like extension stretches into the crowd, bringing performers closer to the audience and creating a more engaging and intimate show experience.
- Dynamic LED Arch: A large LED arch surrounds the stage, offering a versatile visual element that adapts to each performance, enhancing storytelling with lighting and graphics.
- Visual Theme – “Unity Shapes Love”: This year’s branding features a collection of small Eurovision heart symbols arranged in a halftone-style design. The concept emphasizes unity and diversity, core themes of the contest.
