Eurovision 2026: Sanremo Giovani 2025 Heat 1 Results

Last night started a 6-week-long competition for young, upcoming Italian artists to secure a place at Festival di Sanremo 2026 in the newcomers’ category. 6 hopefuls tried their luck to move on to Semi semi-final stage of Sanremo Giovani 2025.

What is Sanremo Giovani ?

Sanremo Giovani is a six-week competition that decides the artists taking part at Festival di Sanremo 2026 in the newcomers’ category. The 24 contestants are grouped in battles, at a pace of three battles per heat, where a studio jury decides who wins each battle and advances to the semi-final. The heats are hosted by the music journalist and radio presenter Gianluca Gazzoli. The members of the jury are the same as last year: Ema Stokholma, Carolina Rey, Manola Moslehi, Enrico Cremonesi and Daniele Battaglia.

Heat 1 Participants were:

  • Antonia – “Luoghi perduti”
  • cmqmartina – “Radio Erotika”
  • Joseph – “Fenomenale”
  • La Messa – “Maria”
  • Renato D’Amico – “Bacio piccolino”
  • Xhovana – “Ego”

Next week next 6 hopefuls will duel with each other, and the winner of each duel will move forward to the semi-final stage.

Lucio Corsi represented Italy at Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with his song ”Volevo Essere Un Duro” in the Grand Final. He finished in 5th place with 256 points.

Eurovision 2026 will be held in Vienna, Austria, on May 12th, 14th, and 16th, 2026.
