4 countries will broadcast their selection shows for Eurovision 2026: Bulgaria will select its Eurovision 2026 artist, while Latvia, Lithuania, and Sweden will make one step forward in their selectons.

The Line-up

8 artists will perform tonight. Each of them will perform a song from their repertoire (either a new one or a released one)

The Format

  1. Bulgaria will select its Eurovision 2026 entry and artist in 3 phases.
  2. The second show format:
    • 8 artists will compete and perform songs from their repertoire.
    • The results will be based on a combination of jury vote and pubic vote.
    • The national jury panel will include 5 members. They will be required to rank each performance in scale of 1-5 points.
    • The public will be able to vote, with one vote per voter.
    • The jury points for each artist will be the sum of points given by all jury members (overall, between 3 and 25 points per act).
    • The public votes will be converted to 1-8 points, with 8 points for first place and 1 point for last place.
    • The artist with the highest score will represent Bulgaria in Eurovision 2026!

Aidan (Malta, Eurovision 2026), Alis (Albania, Eurovision 2026), and Eldar (Azerbaijan, Eurovision 2011) will perform as special acts

The Format

  1. The competition will consist of two semi-finals and a grand final:
    • Semi-Final 1: Saturday, January 31st 2026
    • Semi-Final 2: Saturday, February 7th 2026
    • Final: Saturday, February 14th, 2026.
  2. 12 artists will compete in each semi-final. 11 artists will qualify for the final (5 artists from each semi-final, including a wildcard).
  3. The results of each show will be based on a combination of jury and public vote.

The Format

The hosts of the shows will be: Gabrielė Martirosian, Rimvydas Černiauskas, Eglė Kernagytė

  1. The results of each show will be determined by 50% jury voting and 50% public voting, both converted to a 1-8, 10, or 12-point scale. In the case of a tie, the highest public score will be ranked higher.
  2. The top 2 artists of each semi-final will directly qualify for the final.
  3. LRT will organize an online voting round for all acts that finish in third place. One of them will get a wildcard to the final
  4. The shows will take place on the following dates:
    • Semi-Final 1: Saturday, January 24th, 2026
    • Semi-Final 2: Saturday, January 31st, 2026
    • Semi-Final 3: Saturday, February 7th, 2026
    • Semi-Final 4: Saturday, February 14h, 2026
    • Semi-Final 5: Saturday, February 21st, 2026
    • Final: Friday, February 27th, 2026.

The Format

Gina Dirawi and Hampus Nessvold will host the shows.

  1. The competition will consist of 6 shows: 5 semi-finals and a grand final.
  2. 30 acts will compete in the semi-final, and 12 of them will qualify for the final.
  3. The dates and host cities will be as follows:
    • Semi-Final 1: January 31st, 2026 (Linköping)
    • Semi-Final 2: February 7th, 2026 (Göteborg)
    • Semi-Final 3: February 14th, 2026 (Kristianstad)
    • Semi-Final 4: February 21st, 2026 (Malmö)
    • Semi-Final 5: February 28th, 2026 (Sundsvall)
    • Final: March 7th, 2026 (Stockholm)
  4. 2 acts will qualify from each semi-final to the final.
  5. The semi-final results will be based on the public vote only.
  6. The overall number of votes will determine the first place. The second place will be determined by aggregation of different age groups.
  7. The 3rd-placed teams in the semi-finals will proceed to the qualification round (second chance). 2 of them will get a ticket to the final.
  8. The final results will be based on 50% public votes and 50% international jury.




Eurovision 2026 will be held in Vienna, Austria, on May 12th, 14th, and 16th, 2026.
