The UK has internally chosen its act for Eurovision 2026: LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER will carry the UK’s flag in Vienna.

About LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER
LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER is a multi-talented solo artist, experimental singer/songwriter, live electronics performer and composer, inventor of unique musical machines, and self-proclaimed Eurovision fan based in Kent.
His real name is Sam Battle, and he is 35 years old.
Since emerging in 2014 as the frontman for the indie-rock outfit ZIBRA—notably performing at Glastonbury for BBC Introducing—Sam Battle has transformed into the avant-garde electronic powerhouse known as LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER. His solo career is defined by a deep obsession with analog synthesis, leading to sold-out tours across Europe and a spiritual homecoming tour through Germany’s underground electronic circuit. Beyond the stage, Battle has cultivated a massive digital following, amassing over 85 million YouTube views and a community of 1.4 million followers who tune in to witness his “mad scientist” approach to engineering.
His portfolio of musical inventions reads like a fever dream of circuit bending: he has famously constructed Furby organs, Game Boy synths, and even a flame-throwing keyboard. This unique intersection of music and eccentric engineering has earned him a TEDx Talk, a Guinness World Record for the world’s largest drone synthesizer, and the opening of his very own museum dedicated to these curious mechanical creations.

The singer commented:
I find it completely bonkers to be jumping on this wonderful and wild journey. I have always been a massive Eurovision fan, and I love the magical joy it brings to millions of people every year, so getting to join that legacy and fly the flag for the UK is an absolute honour that I am taking very seriously. I’ve been working a long-time creating, writing, and producing my own visions from scratch, and documenting my process. I will be bringing every ounce of my creativity to my performances, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear and see what we’ve created. I hope Eurovision is ready to get synthesized!
