Junior Eurovision 2026 will happen but currently we don’t know which host country will be but North Macedonia is widely expected to be the host. While France won the 2025 contest (with Lou Deleuze and “Ce Monde”), France Télévisions declined to host for 2026 to manage programming costs. San Marino also submitted a formal bid to host, but current reports indicate that the EBU has moved forward with North Macedonia instead.
Lou Deleuze represented France at JESC 2025 with the song “Ce monde” and won the contest with 248 points.
