Ukraine Confirms Eurovision 2027 Participation

Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne confirmed the country will participate in Eurovision 2027.
Ukraine will choose its artist and song for Eurovision 2027 via “Vidbir 2027″

Due to the uncertain security situation, the national broadcaster emphasizes that organizing the national selection is a first priority. However, the format might be modified to align with any security restrictions if required.
Suspilne states that Eurovision participation is crucial to Ukraine visibility in the world, highlighting the cultural and diplomatic benefits, as well as giving the stage to local talents

Mykola Chernotytskyi, Suspilne Chairman of the Board said:

Eurovision today is a critically important tool for direct interaction with hundreds of millions of Europeans. For Ukraine, participation in the contest is primarily about subjectivity, protection of cultural sovereignty, and the opportunity to keep the Ukrainian context in the focus of world attention right up to the final. At the same time, the format of the National Selection will be changed and developed taking into account security risks and possible challenges of the winter period,

Oksana Skybinska, the executive producer of the Eurovision delegation added:

Only by remaining active participants in the European space do we bring our messages to the world, encourage cooperation and support. Thus, we make our musical contribution to the song diversity of Europe, demonstrate our own artistic identity. At least from March to May, the music world discusses applications and songs from participating countries. This is a platform where Ukraine’s voice should be heard,
