Cyprus will be the first country to reveal its Eurovision 2027 representative!
CyBC, the Cypriot broadcaster revealed the news via their official Instagram account:
The reveal will take place as part of the program “Omorfi mera” on Rik 1, between 8:30 and 10:00 CET.
The national broadcaster will announce an open call for songs. The song selection hasn’t been finalized yet. With 2 options regarding the song selection:
- Internal selection of the song
- A televised show where the chosen artist will perform between 3 and 5 songs. The final song will be chosen by a combination of jury votes and public votes. In this case, it will be the first time Cyprus chooses via national selection since 2015.
