One of the most popular Balkan artist of the century “Željko Joksimović” releases his new hit “Menjaj pesmu”.
“Menjaj pesmu” (Eng: Swap Song) has that nostalgic sounds of the ’70s, and as the name suggests, this is exactly what Željko is preparing for us.
In accordance with the repertoire that has been organizing for the third consecutive year in the “Dva sveta (Two Worlds)” concept, Željko decides to surprise his audience and “change the music” with a different melody. He further explains: I did not have time to change the entire record, but I changed the song. Changing the song is the most beautiful thing I’ve composed in the last few years.
“Two Worlds” concert will be premiered at in “Sava Center”, Belgrade on December 3rd followed by 2 more shows on Dec 6th and 18th.
Željko Joksimović participated twice in the Eurovision Song Contest. His first appearance was in 2004 as he represented “Serbia and Montenegro” came 2nd with “Lane moje”. 8 years later, in 2012, his second entry for Eurovision “Nije Ljubav Stvar” representing Serbia finish 3rd in the final. He also composes two other songs competed in the contest. Serbia’s 2008 entry “Oro” by “Jelena Tomašević” and “Knez“‘s “Adio” represented Montenegro in 2015.
