16 Entries Qualify For Supernova 2019 Semi-Finals Round

Last week we informed you about the pre-finals round of supernova 2019 as 33 songs are competing in a youtube online voting.

This morning LTV the Latvian broadcast reveals the 16 winning act to qualify the Semifinals round.  Info about the dates and song order in each round will be announced soon.

Next May one of this 16 artists will crown as the 20th Latvian act in Eurovision history, trying to bring back the Eurovision to Riga that hosted the show in 2003.

Among those 16 there are some familiar faces returns to Supernova.   Markus Riva returned for his 6th time in a row. He first tried his luck in 2014 with “Lights On” followed by “Take Me Down” in 2015, ” I Can”  In 2016, “Dynamite” in 2017 and “This Time” in 2018. Supernova finalist Edgars Kreilis came 6th last year with “Younger days”. another 2018 act Kris & Oz return after their previous entry “Morning flight” didnt qualify for the final last year, and off course Samanta Tina  participated in 2016 with her rememberable “The love is forever”
