France has started tonight it’s road to Israel with the 1st semi final of “Destination Eurovision 2019.
One by one tonights 9 entries conquered the stage with some great performances

02 – Florina – In the shadow
03 – Chimène Badi – Là-haut
04 – Battista Acquaviva – Passio
05 – Silvàn Areg – Le petit Nicolas
06 – Bilal Hassani – Roi
07 – Aysat – Comme une grande
08 – Lautner – J’ai pas le temps
09 – Mazy – Oulala
Before starting with the votes, 2 of the judges, Christophe Willem and André Manoukian, performed Carole King’s song “you’ve got a friend as an interval act.
This year, the judge’s panel (Christophe Willem, André Manoukian, and Vitaa) don’t vote and only announce this personal opinion base on the performances.
50% of the votes are given to an International jury from 5 countries. these are Armenia, UK, Serbia, Portugal and 2019 host country Israel!

- Battista Acquaviva – Passio – 2 points

After adding to these numbers the televote results, the big 4 qualify for the final will take place 01/26. The full 1st semi-final results are:

The big winner of the night is 19 years old Bilal Hassani who won both, the viewers and the jury vote. Next week (01/19/19) another 9 entries will battle for another 4 spots in the grand final will take place in two weeks from now. those are:
