It’s been less than 24 hours ago TVR the Romanian broadcast announced their 2 wildcards for Selecția Națională and we already have a new drama in the national final.
Bella Santiago and Linda Teodosiu joined the competition to fill the vacancy of Dan Bittman who withdrew from the competition for an unknown reason.
A few hours ago, one of this year favorite artist M I H A I wrote a post on his Facebook page that he decided to withdraw from the contest saying: I do not trust the objectivity of Eurovision Romania organizers.
M I H A I brought Romania the 4th place back in 2006 when he sang “Tornero”. He was supposed to participate again in 2019 singing his new entry “Baya”.
After M I H A I withdrew from the contest, 24 acts will participate in Selecția Națională 2019 and the winner will be chosen on the February 17th after 2 semi-final rounds on January 27th and February 10th
