Eliot Vassamillet Will Represent Belgium In Tel-Aviv

RTBF (The French-speaking radio and television broadcast) confirms their representative for Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv will be Eliot Vassamillet.

The 18-years old singer who previously participated in the reality show “The Voice Belgique” will perform on the big stage of Eurovision using his first name only “Eliot “

The composer of the song will be Pierre Dumoulin who is responsible for Belgium’s’ latest success in the contest, 2017 4th place Blanche‘s “City Lights”.  Talkin about Eliot he says: “As soon as I saw Eliot’s performance at his Blind audition, I felt he had that extra stuff that I’m looking for in an artist, that sensitivity and crack that’s needed to convey the emotions”.

Belgium’s won the contest only once when 16 years old Sandra Kim sang “J’aime la vie” back in 1986.  It looks like RTBF is trying to restore that success this year, letting the young generations inspire the world.
