The last few weeks were full of rumors about who is going to represent the small country in Tel-Aviv.
On social media, many big names were mentioned as the surprising chosen representative like Valentina Monetta and Daryana. The most strong rumor was that human Ken doll Rodrigo Alves will start his music career on the big stage. Alves which loves that attention played the game all the way with the media and even post teasers from the studio album recording the song etc.

Today, through a press conference broadcast live SMRTV announced the Turkish singer Serhat will return to Eurovision stage once again and be their representative for Tel-Aviv. Serhat represented San Marino in Stockholm 2016 with the disco entry “I Didn’t Know” finished 12 in the 1st semi-final lacking to qualify for the final.

Ever since his Eurovision experience, Serhat stayed as one of the loveable artists of 2016 contest by many Eurovision fans. He recorded his Eurovision entry again with Martha Wash and later released one of 2018 most interesting duett “Total Disguise” with Eurovision winner Helena Paparizou.
