Eurovision 2019 green room host Assi Azar has mad an extraordinary announcement that he has decided to donate all the money he will earn from hosting the show for the Israeli youth LGBTQ organization “IGY”.
Assi was very straight forward revealing the amount he will get for hosting the show is 105,000 NIS (30,000$) and every single penny will be donated. Assi tweet today saying “I was deep in the closet till the age of 24. Today, I am proud to be a part of the LGBTQ community and will keep using my voice to do whatever I can to help.
“IGY” organization founded in 2001, is taking care for young LGBTQ in Israel exists through donations only and in order to survive they have to raise over 1 million NIS this year. thanks to Assi almost 1/3 from that goal is achieved and this decision of his is estimable and made us proud!

Assi Azar will host Eurovision song contest green room together with TV host Lucy Ayoub. The main events will be hosted by Bar Refaeli and Erez Tal. The 64 Eurovision song contest will take place in Expo Tel-Aviv on May 14-16-18.
