Tomorrow: “Hakohav Haba” Final In Israel

Tomorrow night, “Hakohav Haba” final will take place in Israel and we will finally know who will represent the host country.

After long auditions round, the season top 20 team has now left with the 4 finalists battling for the victory and the honor to represent Israel in the contest for the 42nd time.

The 4 finalists are:

  • Kobi Marimi
  • Ketreyah
  • Maya Buskila
  • Shefita

All 4 of them had some unforgettable performances through the season and proved each one of them has star quality and was born for Eurovision.  In the final night, the artists will cover these songs:

  • Ketreyah will sing “Locked Out Of Heaven” by Bruno Mars and Shontelle’s “impossible”
  • Kobi Marimi will sing “always” by Bon Jovi and “let it be” by the beatles
  • Maya Buskila will sing Sia’s “Alive” and Eurovision 2012 winning song “Euphoria” by Loreen
  • Shefita will sing  “Beautiful” by Christina Aguilera and an original song she wrote herself “Broken”

The Israeli song for Eurovision will be decided after the decision for the artists will be made, and the entry video clip will be aired for the first time through the Israeli television academy awards 2018 on March 10th.

This is the 5th time the reality show is using as the mechanism to choose the Israeli representative for the contest.  all the 4 previous winners Nadav GuedjHovi StarImri Ziv, and Netta succeeded to qualify for the Eurovision’s final. Netta off course made history and brought Israel the 4th winning in the contest.

Eurovision 2019 host country Israel will participate automatically in the grand final on May 18.
