Portugal will kick off their national final this Saturday with the 1st semi-final of Festival da Canção 2019.
The 53rd edition of Festival da Canção includes a total of 16 entries will be presented through 2 semi-final nights. in each semi of 8 songs, the top 4 determined by a 50/50 combination of votes from music professionals jury will qualify for the next round. the 8 qualifiers will perform again on the final night, March 2nd,2019, and the winner will be determined by a 50/50 combination of votes from regional jury members and the public televote.

This week show will be hosted by Sónia Araújo & Tânia Ribas de Oliveira and this will be the running order of performances:

- 05 – Conan Osíris – Telemóveis
- 06 – Ela Limão – Mais Brilhante Que Mil Sóis

- 08 – Matay – Perfeito
