Icelandic Hatari Band Continues With Provoking PR Campaign. Is the Eurovision Stage The Right Place For That?

One of the favorites to win this year “Söngvakeppnin 2019” and representing Iceland in the Eurovision song contest Hatari, releases another Controversial statement to Israeli prime minister Benjamins Netanyahu.

Putting aside that their entry “Hatrið mun sigra” (Hate will prevail) sounds great and followed with a unique performance that truly deserved winning the national selection, sending them to represent Iceland on the big stage can put on the stake and shaken the value foundation stone of Eurovision, Peace, Unity, and Harmony.

A week ago, the band invited on a local Radio show Mr. Benjamins Netanyahu for wrestling match on Rabin square and today the band release the provoking video for a battle teasing the Israeli prime minister for attention.

Whether it’s just for the “Fun” and for creating a Buzz to promote their entry before the national final, a big question is asked on every true Eurovision fans heart:

Is The Eurovision Stage the right place for this political propaganda?
