Ukraine held tonight their national final for Eurovision 2019, Vidbir, and decided the MARUV will fly to Tel-Aviv

In previous rounds, 16 songs participated in the semi-finals and these 6 acts qualified for the final and perform tonight

  • 01 – Freedom jazz – Cupidon
  • 02 – YUKO – Galyna Guliala
  • 03 – MARUV – Siren Song (Bang)
  • 04 – Brunettes Shoot Blondes – Houston
  • 05 – KAZKA – Apart
  • 06 – ANNA MARIA – My Road

Vidbir 2019 winner was decided by a mixture of a public televote and a jury panel consists of Eurovision winner Jamala, Ukraine representative for Eurovision 2007 Andriy Danylko (aka Verka Serduchka), and the singer-producer Yevhen Filatov.

Before the results were announced, the French representative for Eurovision 2019 Bilal Hassani performed his Eurovision entry  “Roi”

The final results were:

  • 01 – Freedom jazz – Cupidon (2nd place)
  • 02 – YUKO – Galyna Guliala (5th place)
  • 03 – MARUV – Siren Song (Bang) (1st place)
  • 04 – Brunettes Shoot Blondes – Houston (4th place)
  • 05 – KAZKA – Apart (3rd place)
  • 06 – ANNA MARIA – My Road (6th place)

Ukraine will perform in the second half of the first semi-final on May 14th.
