“Love Is Forever” By Leonora Is The Danish Entry For Eurovision 2019

Denmark held tonight the 49th edition of the Danish national final Dansk Melodi Grand Prix and decided that Leonora will raise the Danish flag in Tel-Aviv

The show hosted by Kristian Gintberg and Johannes Nymark presented the 10 acts to be decided from and the winner was chosen 50/50 rate of jury and televote.

  • 01 – Simone Emilie – Anywhere
  • 02 – Jasmin Gabay – Kiss Like This
  • 03 – Rasmus Faartoft – Hold My Breath
  • 04 – Marie Isabell – Dancing with You in My Heart
  • 05 – Sigmund – Say My Name
  • 06 – Humørekspressen – Dronning af baren
  • 07 – Julie & Nina – League of Light
  • 08 – Teit Samsø – Step It Up
  • 09 – Leonora – Love Is Forever
  • 10 – Leeloo – That Vibe

3 songs qualify for the super final round second round

  • 05 – Sigmund – Say My Name
  • 07 – Julie & Nina – League of Light
  • 09 – Leonora – Love Is Forever

and after the second televote Leonora‘sLove Is Forever” announced as the winner of the evening and will represent Denmark In Israel. the final results were:

  • Sigmund – Say My Name (23%)
  • Julie & Nina – League of Light (35%)
  • Leonora – Love Is Forever (42%)

Can Leonora beat last year 9th place “Rasmussen – Higher Ground”?

Denmark will participate in the first half of the second semi-final on May 16.
