Denmark held tonight the 49th edition of the Danish national final Dansk Melodi Grand Prix and decided that Leonora will raise the Danish flag in Tel-Aviv
The show hosted by Kristian Gintberg and Johannes Nymark presented the 10 acts to be decided from and the winner was chosen 50/50 rate of jury and televote.
Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2019 hopefuls are:

- 04 – Marie Isabell – Dancing with You in My Heart

- 07 – Julie & Nina – League of Light
- 08 – Teit Samsø – Step It Up
- 09 – Leonora – Love Is Forever
- 10 – Leeloo – That Vibe

and after the second televote Leonora‘s “Love Is Forever” announced as the winner of the evening and will represent Denmark In Israel. the final results were:
- Sigmund – Say My Name (23%)
- Julie & Nina – League of Light (35%)
- Leonora – Love Is Forever (42%)
Can Leonora beat last year 9th place “Rasmussen – Higher Ground”?
Denmark will participate in the first half of the second semi-final on May 16.
